Hurdles Coaching
We provide coaching for both the short (60-100 mtr) and long hurdle (300-400 mtr) events with a major focus on technique and style.
The sessions are programmed and supervised by Lead Coach Graham who is a Level 4 (Elite) Sprint and Hurdle Coach and Caitlyn Hicks is the assistant coach, for the Juniors and Developing Squads. (refer Coach’s Profiles for details)
We accommodate three squads including:
- Young Little A’s (7-11)
- Developing (12-15)
- Advanced / Elite
- Technique – Technique – Technique
- Strength and Conditioning including Med Ball / Hill and Step Workouts / Plyometrics / Resistance Training (age appropriate)
- Speed Development including Acceleration and Max Speed
- Intensive Tempo to build the support base for Speed Endurance
- Speed Endurance for both the short and longer events
